Makars' Court to Greyfriars Bobby: Edinburgh Storytelling Walk
Join us - sometimes including one of our Golden Retriever tour guides - for an exploration of the top of the historic Royal Mile here in Edinburgh.
The tour begins in Makars’ Court where we learn a bit about some Scottish literary legends. We then head to the Edinburgh Castle Esplanade with stories of sieges and battles, kings and queens, as well as some mysteries. As we make our way down Castlehill, you will be enthralled with the lives of witches and wizards - both real and fictional. Afterwards, be amazed by the tales and views of the picturesque Victoria Street. We next mingle with the locals, both past and present, at the Grassmarket.
Finally, we make our way up to Greyfriars Bobby's statue, where more history awaits us. Here, you get to meet our best friend in Edinburgh - Greyfriars Bobby. We separate the fiction and falsehoods from the facts, but we promise that you will be moved as Bobby's story will imprint on your heart and soul!

• Children 5 and under are free with an adult (no need to book).
• Well‑behaved dogs are welcome, as long as they’re comfortable around other dogs, since one of our Golden Retriever tour guides often joins the tour.
For scheduled walking tours, refunds are offered according to the timings below:
More than 24 hours before the tour start time: eligible for a refund.
Within 24 hours of the tour start time: not eligible for a refund.
Refunds do not include any non-refundable booking/processing fees charged by our third-party payment processor, so the refunded amount may be less than the total paid.
Wee Walking Tours may cancel a tour if we believe conditions are unsafe (including weather) or for other operational reasons. If Wee Walking Tours cancels, customers are entitled to a refund of the tour price.
